The 7th annual Organic & Non-GMO Forum is planned Dec. 1-2 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US, with a focus on the opportunities, innovations and challenges in the growing plant-based sector.
A demand for wellness-focused organic food, a concern for sustainable products and a desire to lessen the environmental impact of animal production, the global plant-based protein market has grown to a value of $10.3 billion. It is predicted to grow to $15.6 billion by 2026.
This year’s forum keynote speaker, David Hightower, founder of The Hightower Report, which publishes one of the most widely read daily commodity wires in the world, will start the day-and-a-half conference off discussing sustainability and the unprecedented inflation that organic and non-GMO grains are now facing.
